Central Coast Therapy Centre offer group programs as an alternative or useful addition to individual treatment. Group programs enable you to meet regularly with like minded people, and to utilise the dynamics of a group to build on ideas and strategies.
Our group programs are very active, in that they involve participants learning new ideas and strategies and practicing them both within session and between sessions.

Helping Your Teenager to Thrive (see below for details)
Mindfulness (see below for details)
CCTC is also able to provide information sessions that can be catered to your individual requirements. Such information sessions include: seminars with employees on workplace stress; parenting information sessions; information sessions on self-care and general wellbeing; mindfulness seminars; school readiness sessions.
A “Helping Your Teenager to Thrive” group will be beginning in Term 3, 2017. This group will be focussed on assisting parents of teens and tweens to improve their relatoinship with their child and assist their child to thrive in difficult situations. A Mindfulness Group will also be beginning in Term 3. This is aimed at older teenagers and adults. It will provide practical strategies on how to better respond to difficult emotions through the use of grounding and mindfulness techniques. This group is perfect for people who do not feel that they require individual treatment, but who would benefit from a few group sessions. We are also in the process of developing group treatment programs targeting things such as: exam stress; depression; dealing with difficult emotions; anxiety; post-natal depression and anxiety amongst other things.
